Notice of Upper Elections Notice of Upper Elections being held at the January General Members Meeting (GMM) on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 9:30am at 585 Wentworth Street East, Oshawa - Unit #32. Note: All members in attendance to vote, must stay until the elections are complete. Elections will be held as per the by-laws for the following positions: President Vice President Recording Secretary Treasurer Sergeant-At-Arms 3 Year Trustee Education Committee Social Committee Delegates to Durham Region District CUPE Council Delegates to Durham Regional Labour Council If you are interested in running for any of the above positions, you must be nominated by another CUPE 2936 member. Your nominator can nominate you from the floor at the January 20th, 2024 GMM. You will then be able to either accept or decline the nomination from the floor and once all nominees have accepted and names have been recorded, the vote will begin for each position.
